Welcome to Pick Your Auditor (PYA), the platform that connects businesses with certification bodies for various audit and certification needs including CSR, ISO, Food Safety, and Sustainability Audits. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PYA platform, website, and services.
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the services. Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform.

Throughout these Terms, the following definitions apply:
"PYA", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Pick Your Auditor, the company that operates this platform.
"User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses our services.
"Certification Body" refers to any organization that provides audit and certification services.
"Platform" refers to our website, applications, and all related services.
"Service" refers to the connection, matching, and facilitation services we provide between Users and Certification Bodies.
Account Registration
Creating an Account
To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your business to use our services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of your business.
Services Description
Platform Overview
PYA provides a platform that enables businesses to:
- Connect with accredited certification bodies
- Request and compare quotes for various certification audits
- Communicate with certification bodies through our platform
- Manage certification documentation
- Share certification information with relevant stakeholders
Our Role as Intermediary
PYA acts solely as an intermediary between Users and Certification Bodies. We:
- Do not conduct audits or issue certifications ourselves
- Do not guarantee that you will receive certification
- Do not guarantee the quality or outcomes of any audit
- Are not responsible for any certification body's actions or services
User Obligations
General Conduct
When using our services, you agree to:
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Provide accurate information about your business and certification needs
- Respect the intellectual property rights of PYA and third parties
- Not use the service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose
- Not interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
Content Submission
When submitting content to the Platform, including business information, documents, and communications, you:
- Grant PYA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and share such content as necessary to provide the services
- Represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit the content
- Understand that your content will be shared with certification bodies for the purpose of providing quotes and facilitating audits
Service Availability
Free Service
- PYA provides its platform services to Users free of charge
- There are no fees for connecting you with certification bodies
- We do not charge for requesting quotes, comparing options, or using our platform features
Quotes and Pricing
- Any quotes, prices, or fees shown on the platform are provided directly by the certification bodies
- All financial transactions for audit services occur directly between you and the certification body
- We do not control or influence the pricing set by certification bodies
Certification Bodies
Selection and Vetting
- We strive to include reputable, accredited certification bodies on our platform
- While we perform basic verification, we do not guarantee or warrant any certification body's credentials, quality, or performance
- We recommend you perform your own due diligence when selecting a certification body
Relationship with Certification Bodies
- Certification bodies on our platform are independent entities and not employees or agents of PYA
- The contract for audit and certification services is between you and the certification body
- PYA is not liable for any certification body's actions, omissions, or statements
Intellectual Property
PYA's Intellectual Property
- The Platform, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by PYA and protected by intellectual property laws
- Our name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of PYA
- You may not use our trademarks without our prior written permission
Limited License
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes
- This license does not include the right to:
- Modify, reproduce, or distribute the Platform or its content
- Use data mining, robots, or similar data gathering methods
- Use the Platform for any commercial purpose other than seeking certification services
Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer of Warranties
- The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information provided through the Platform
Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, PYA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to PYA in the 12 months preceding the claim
- This limitation applies regardless of whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold PYA and its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use of the Platform
- Your content submitted to the Platform
- Your interaction with any certification body
Modifications to Terms or Services
Changes to Terms
- We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on the Platform
- Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms
- We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes
Changes to Services
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our services at any time
- We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of our services
Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account and these Terms at any time by:
- Deactivating your account through the Platform
- Contacting us to request account closure
- Ceasing all use of the Platform
Termination by PYA
We may terminate or suspend your account and these Terms at any time:
- If you breach any provision of these Terms
- If we suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- If providing the services to you becomes commercially unviable
- For any other reason at our sole discretion
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to access and use the Platform will cease immediately
- Any outstanding payment obligations will remain in effect
- Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
